Pappy came to visit this month and the boys had a ball. They LOVE their Pappy. He makes funny faces and rude noises and Matthew thinks he's about the best thing since sliced bread. He even babysat for us one night, which makes him the best thing since sliced bread in my book, too!
Matthew wasn't really
feeling this photo shoot, so you should not take his furrowed brow as a sign of much, other than his frustration at being made to sit for a photo shoot! He's happiest these days in his sandbox which was purchased by Nana & Peter, filled with sand by Grandma & Grandpa, and outfitted with toys by Pappy. His favorite is the dump truck that says, "Caterpillar Power" and then makes construction sounds. Excellent.
William is
this close to walking and he's pulling up on everything he can reach to get in more practice time. He's the jolliest little boy I've ever seen and now that he's mobile, I think he's even happier. Mobility and real food. There's nothing like chewing your own pears to make a baby feel like he's moving up in the world.
